About – Same Purpose, Changed Methods

Now that I have been writing for almost 6 months (wow!), a few changes have occurred in the purpose of the blog.  Actually, more than the purpose changing, the way it has been implemented has changed.  It is not as direct in hitting the topics as I had initially expected.

How has the original purpose been maintained and what has changed?
My original intent was to talk about the private domain of our thoughts and personal lives, especially dealing with migration.  That has definitely happened but not in the manner I had thought it would.  It has happened in a much better way actually.

I have been generally writing stories that cover events, incidents, and activities that happen in my life.  By doing so, my thoughts have been captured.  And in a much better way.  While these stories have taken up a large portion of the posts, there is direct commentary on the private domain also.

Has the twist remained intact?
Yes, very much.  My take on everything that happens is because of who I am, a 1.5 GI and a returning NRI (RNRI).

Have the topics in the original purpose been covered?
Generally speaking, yes!  Again, the difference has been that stories of events and activities are convering those topics rather than me addressing them directly.  That has been good but I could probably hit the topics directly also and give examples using stories.

Has the potential audience changed?
Not really.  I still write for myself as well as hope to engage with people.  I haven’t had many people write comments so far and that’s because I haven’t followed the methods of marketing the blog yet.  I’ve been satisfied with building up the posts for now.

Anonymous Optional
The blog has remained anonymous.  I could probably add my name to it.  It doesn’t really matter as much as I thought it would.  It hasn’t hindered or helped the writing or the purpose.
